Corporate Wellness: The Scale – Friend or Foe?

A person’s overall wellness can be determined in ways that are more useful than stepping onto a scale to measure weight loss progress. Weight fluctuations can be accounted for because the body is mostly water, and muscle gains can offset fat weight losses. Body fat composition measures can more accurately measure this precision in weight changes. Setting wellness goals and measuring those may be better than tracking the coming and goings of pounds.
